About
I’m a Bulgarian folk singer based in London, working with traditional songs that carry the emotional depth, rawness, and storytelling power of Bulgarian vocal heritage.
For many years I performed in ensembles across Europe, including Nusha Choir led by Neli Andreeva, where I developed my grounding in Bulgarian vocal folklore. These experiences shaped the way I sing today - both in unaccompanied a cappella form and in more intimate arrangements for voice, piano and guitar.
My solo work is rooted in this tradition but shaped by my own path through it. I perform regularly in the UK and internationally, moving between raw traditional singing and subtle interpretations that bring these songs into new spaces.
In late 2025 I released my debut EP Godini (Years) - a collection of traditional Bulgarian songs exploring love, loss, resilience, and memory, including pieces never previously recorded. The project reflects the core of my practice: bringing ancestral voice into the present, simply and directly.
